Our agency supports video game publishers and developers, consumer brands, corporate companies and their communication agencies by offering a range of creative marketing services and content.  Our services include graphic design, event production (trade/booth and other live events), film, animation and innovative digital solutions. Role Summary: Motion & Graphic Designer

The Motion Designer is an experienced creative with strong communication skills who think creatively, are detail-oriented and are able to meet deadlines. They thrive in a collaborative environment and possess strong problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills. A Creative Designer will take a customer-driven approach to create collectables, marketing and advertising materials, live environment and innovative digital solutions. They must manage their creative team’s time and be a key point of contact to the client.

The role is full time and based in London, although might require travel to client/event locations. It involves working with clients, the MD/CD and creative colleagues throughout each project.

Role Detail

Lead design direction and project management

  • Initialise a project by understanding the scope of work presented by the client or new business team and briefing the wider creative team accordingly.
  • Delegating and providing feedback and support, presenting the idea to the senior management or client.
  • Work in collaboration with managers, engineers, artists and other designers to evaluate the credibility and feasibility of the design and to provide solutions for possible issues relating to the brief or production of the design.
  • Commission and brief partners on project deliverables.
  • Oversee the production of prototypes and products with approved partners ensuring it is created within project specifications and expectations.
  • Understanding trends within the scope of the industry they are working in.
  • Understanding of advertising campaigns, communication materials (PR), video game campaigns and collectables from a client’s perspective.
  • The role is remote with the option to work in a co-working studio. You’ll be required to meet up in person with the team at least once a fortnight.

  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends to the team
  • Own items on and contribute to TAKEOFF’s internal improvement plans
  • Research and understand competition and share learnings with the team so that we can develop/respond as required
  • Present business development training and mentoring to internal staff, as required
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities, forming great relationships with colleagues


Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
