WO LONG: FALLEN DYNASTY – PRESS AND INFLUENCER KITS
THE GAME
2023 action-RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty takes place in a fantasy version of China’s Three Kingdoms in 184 AD, where a nameless warrior fights demons to survive. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was developed by Team NINJA and published by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO.
THE CHALLENGE
To help promote the game’s release on Xbox across European territories, we worked with Microsoft EMEA to create highly-visual press and influencer kits that presented the ancient fantasy themes of Wo Long in a cool, modern way.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
We decided to approach the brief from a different angle and take the campaign all the way back to ancient China. We commissioned our talented screen-printing partners to create a series of silk serigraphs depicting the game’s protagonist and monsters with Guo Hua-style artwork from the era.
Three extremely-beautiful handmade fabric artworks were produced for each kit and rolled into scrolls, set alongside four Wo Long pins depicting the elements in a wooden slide-top box with engraved Wo Long banding. We made 100 kits, with some sent to the press and others delivered to content creators including Nephias and Enki.
