For the unveil of Last Stand, a groundbreaking multi-location mixed-reality PvP shooter, Soul Assembly wanted to create a buzz within the gaming community. They envisioned a kit that not only gifted impressive in-game replica items but also contributed to an online competition.
THE CHALLENGE
The “Survive the Zombie Apocalypse” kit needed to stand out and make an impact. The goal was to design a kit that would generate excitement, spark creativity, and encourage influencers to produce engaging content while streaming the game. With a strong focus on building excitement, the kit had to represent the gritty, action-packed world of Last Stand while driving conversations and content creation across social media.

TAKEOFF delivered by fully customizing a motorized Nerf blaster into a stunning in-game submachine gun replica, complete with black metallic paint, blood palm prints, and 3D game logos. The kit also included a target poster, in-game shop badges, and a bullet belt filled with foam bullets. A select group of lucky influencers received a golden bullet, promoting them to SWAT status and unlocking a secret prize.
The kit box, designed to resemble a large shoe box plastered with branded stickers, concealed all the anti-zombie supplies inside. TAKEOFF handled the design and production, creating a truly epic kit that delivered both in-game authenticity and excitement for the community.
