FORZA HORIZON 5 RALLY ADVENTURE – INFLUENCER KITS
THE GAME
Released in March 2023, Rally Adventure is an expansion for the hugely-popular driving sim Forza Horizon 5, introducing 10 new rally cars and rough terrains to drive on. Rally Adventure was developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios.
THE CHALLENGE
To help promote Forza’s Rally Adventure DLC, Microsoft EMEA asked us to create interactive influencer kits that could be sent to some of the web’s top content creators.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
A key feature in Rally Adventure is the helicopter, which follows players as they race around the map, filming their adventures from the skies above. We based the influencer kit on this relationship, creating a sturdy metallic ‘Rally Adventure’ chest which was deep enough to hold a slew of fun goodies to recreate that in-game dynamic.
Alongside the Rally Adventure DLC code was a large Rally Adventure RC car, customised with Forza branding and a stylish skin with blended neon colours.
The powerful battery-powered toy could reach 40 mph if pushed. Also in the chest was a custom RC helicopter complete with mounted camera, letting influencers recreate chase scenes from the game in real life.
Finally, a Forza Horizon 5-edition Thrustmaster eSwap XR Pro Controller – designed for racing games with a wheel module on the face – was included. We created 24 kits which were received and shared online by popular influencers including TheApexHound and Yann.
