Developers Spike Chunsoft and publishers Bandai Namco Entertainment came together to make every manga lover’s dream a reality with fighting game Jump Force, pitting Shonen Jump’s most well-known characters against each other.

We were asked by Bandai Namco and their in-house manufacturing team, Banpresto, to help create packaging and ads for Jump Force and its limited edition, to help draw in manga fans across the globe and encourage pre-orders.

Working on Jump Force was a dream, as we had access to assets of some of the most iconic heroes and villains ever to grace the pages of Shonen Jump.

Packaging, for both the game and the limited edition, featured Goku, Naruto, and Luffy – all pumped up and ready for battle. The limited edition packaging went further, boasting the characters in their powered-up phases and the incredible goodies gamers could find within.

Translation was also a key part of the brief, as the campaign was aimed at different regions across EMEA. Packaging for the game and limited edition was translated accordingly, without losing any fun or exciting elements, to target Jump fans wherever they lived.

Static and animated shots were taken for social media purposes; the social media campaign was also translated into a number of international languages, so the social media team could specifically target EMEA audiences and improve Jump Force’s sales potential across global territories.
