BOSSA STUDIOS – SURGEON SIMULATOR 2 CUSTOM CONTROLLER
THE PROJECT
Surgeon Simulator 2 is Bossa Studio’s notorious operation sim, where players can work in teams to complete silly surgical challenges – sometimes set by Bossa themselves. Surgeon Simulator 2 was released in 2020 on Windows and Xbox platforms.
THE CHALLENGE
Having already created prizes for Surgeon Simulator 2 competitions before, Bossa Studios asked us to create a custom Surgeon Simulator 2 controller to celebrate the game’s launch on Xbox.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
We focused on an Xbox controller for our custom creation. Our design experts put on their scrubs, masked up, cleaned themselves down and anaesthetised the patient before putting it under the knife.
The surgery was a complete success.
Our custom Surgeon Simulator 2 Xbox controller was hand-painted with the game’s brand colours, complete with clinical clean lines on the cover. The controller included yellow and black face buttons with the D-pad finished in red, complete with white flatline.
