THE PROJECT
To celebrate Gucci’s centennial anniversary and Xbox’s 20th anniversary, we were asked to create 100 limited-edition Gucci-themed Xbox Series X consoles and controllers.
THE CHALLENGE
We were asked to create a unique mix of tech hardware with heritage and vintage style; something special that would appeal to both fashion lovers and gamers alike. It also had to fit inside the special vintage luggage casing Gucci had specially designed for the project.

Our Xbox Series X is undeniably Gucci. It stands tall and proud, with the tower shell laser-cut with Gucci’s GG monogram motif. Gucci’s website highlights how the design helps bring the brand to the cloud gaming space – the design could mean ‘Good Game’ as much as ‘Guccio Gucci’.
Complementing each console were two custom black wireless Xbox controllers, featuring blue and red stripes along the left face that were inspired by House Web. The set was housed in a vintage luggage carry case, including ‘XBOX’ and ‘GOOD GAME’ logos. The Gucci Xbox set was a social media sensation, and was even a feature on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
