THE PROJECT
HEAT is Wargaming’s brand-new World of Tanks title, bringing modern armoured combat to players for the first time. Tankfest, hosted annually at The Tank Museum, gave Wargaming the perfect real-world stage to premiere the game to its core tank-loving audience.
THE CHALLENGE
Wargaming asked us to design and build a standout gaming zone for HEAT’s premiere at Tankfest 2026, capable of handling huge daily footfall over the course of the event while giving every visitor genuine hands-on time with the game.
ServicesExperiential
We built a fully branded gaming zone housing 14 PCs and 4 consoles, styled in HEAT’s black-and-yellow “Ignite the Battlefield” identity and set against a mural of the game’s key art. Partitioned gaming pods gave players their own space to play, while a live streamer booth let content creators broadcast the game overlooking the museum’s vehicle conservation centre.
In the dwell area, a custom AI photo booth let attendees strike a pose and see themselves transformed into a HEAT character in seconds — a popular, shareable moment that kept the zone buzzing throughout the show.
A large demo screen gave passers-by a look at the game in action, while a “create your AI photo” activation and interactive touchpoints extended the experience beyond the gaming stations themselves.
To top it off, we designed and built a bespoke HEAT Xbox controller and Steam Deck, styled with the game’s signature yellow detailing, giving every attendee the chance to win a genuinely collectable piece of hardware. Across the event, the zone became one of Tankfest’s standout attractions, generating strong social buzz and repeat visits over the show’s three days.
