PLAYDIGIOUS – POTION PERMIT RELEASE TRAILER
THE GAME
Originally developed by MassHive Media and released on PC and consoles in 2022, colourful craft-RPG game Potion Permit was published on Android and iOS mobile platforms by Playdigious in February 2024.
THE CHALLENGE
Playdigious asked us to create an announcement trailer for the mobile release of Potion Permit to highlight the game’s availability on mobile platforms, feature its exclusive mobile mechanics and include a call to action to drive downloads.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
Potion Permit is a relaxing mix of genres inspired by games such as Stardew Valley and similar top-down craft-focused RPGs. We worked with Playdigious to gather a number of in-game footage and art assets to create a rush build trailer for Potion Permit, blending its core mechanics with signs and backgrounds outlining what players could expect.
Set against soothing background music, our trailer focused on the player-character and their companion and how they could be controlled with the game’s intuitive mobile UI. We also highlighted potion-mixing and exploration mechanics, its cosy forest and town settings, finishing on an end slate that doubled as a call to action showing where to download Potion Permit.
