THE PROJECT
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter, with a heavy focus on environmental destruction. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in 2015.
THE CHALLENGE
Ubisoft regularly hosts different eSports competitions for Rainbow Six Siege in France. For 2019, they needed logos for the four different competitions they were hosting: the French League, French Challengers, Student Trophy, and Open Cup 2020.

With the competitions held in France, and concluding in front of an enormous physical and online audience at Paris Game Week at the start of November 2019, our creative team produced four designs that predominantly featured Le Drapeau Tricolore – the country’s iconic flag, and its unmistakable, symbolic reds, whites and blues.
Complementing the colours of the French flag on each design was the iconic Rainbow Six Siege ‘6’ logo (complete with a gun for the loop), with clear lettering detailing which competition each logo represented. Static and animated screens were also created as placeholders and transitional slides for each competition, and were viewed by thousands around the world on live broadcasts throughout the competitions’ five-month duration.
