Watch Dogs 2 lets players navigate an open world to bring down the city’s oppressive surveillance systems, and was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.
THE CHALLENGE
Ubisoft approached TAKEOFF to create a collector’s edition that complemented the game’s highly-stylised visuals and colourful aesthetics that gamers would love to own.

TAKEOFF designed and produced the box and all of its contents, with the final product aptly named ‘The Return of DedSec Collector’s Case’. The collector’s edition box came with a kinegram/barrier grid-styled sleeve, to give it an ‘animated’ effect when the player removed it.
The collector’s edition featured a 27cm tall statue of Watch Dogs 2 protagonist Marcus Holloway in front of a street wall covered in incredible graffiti artwork. The Return of DedSec Collector’s Case also featured collectibles including a 64-page artbook, a replica of Marcus’s cap and scarf, a double-sided map of in-game San Francisco, exclusive lithographs, laptop stickers and the Gold Edition of the game with additional digital content.
