THE PROJECT
The Assassin’s Creed franchise is one of the most successful in modern gaming, spanning various console generations, and is still going strong after 15 years. It’s one of the brightest jewels in global developer and publisher Ubisoft’s crown.
THE CHALLENGE
As part of Assassin’s Creed’s 15th anniversary, and to show Ubisoft’s pride and love for the franchise, we were commissioned to create a statue that would be erected outside Ubisoft’s offices in Montreuil, France.
ServicesActivation, Video Games, Statue
We’ve worked closely with Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed’s 15th anniversary, and we really enjoyed sinking our teeth into this project (giant statues are a speciality of ours, after all). Our knowledge of the franchise and ties with Assassin’s Creed helped our team and Ubisoft decide on producing a statue of a series fan-favourite: Assassin Creed II’s Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
The Florentine nobleman and master assassin is one of the series’ most recognisable characters. Our large-scale 3D-printed statue was created with Ezio in his iconic pose, which adorned the cover of the second game. The statue was supported internally with a strong metal frame, and specially-coated to give it a bronze-style finish. TAKEOFF erected the Ezio statue, where it stands to this day.
TAKEOFF has offices in the UK, France and Central Europe, North America and China. If you’d like to discuss an entertainment marketing publicity project or event, get in touch with the TAKEOFF team via: enquiries@takeoffstudios.com.
