BALDUR’S GATE 3 – INFLUENCER KITS

THE GAME
Developed and published by Larian Studios, Baldur’s Gate 3 is the third entry in the legendary tabletop-style RPG series, based on the classic Dungeons & Dragons formula. Baldur’s Gate 3 was launched in 2023 and is widely regarded to be one of the best RPGs ever made.

THE CHALLENGE
Hype was already high for Baldur’s Gate 3 before the game was released, but Larian Studios asked us to help them spread word of Faerûn beyond those already in the know with influencer kits created and targeted toward international video-game content creators.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION

Influencers were sent custom wooden crates marked with the ‘Baldur’s Gate’ logo and branded as housing ‘Adventurer’s Supplies’ on the lid. Within were everything an RPG-lover would need to set off on a journey to battle mythical monsters – all of which were detailed in a wax-sealed ‘Welcome to Baldur’s Gate’ scroll which invited influencers to explore the lands awaiting them in-game.

To help them on their way were our ‘Adventurer’s Journals’; 60-page jotters paced with nice paper and pages featuring sketches.

Alongside that, wrapped in a red-wine velvet cloth, was a beautiful painting of the cambion, Raphael, and a cloth map of Faerûn. Influencers could also use the included Absolute’s wax seal – enclosed in a red jute bag – to create verified scrolls of their own.

Goodies also included an oversized hand-forged bronze d20 with red patina, and a hand-forged Baldur’s Gate bronze coin. A hand-painted Baldur’s Gate-engraved tankard, two cloth snack bags, origin character postcards and brown jute bags all completed the kit, which was distributed to notable online content creators in the RPG space.
