THE GAME
Batman: Arkham Origins is the prequel to the wildly successful Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games, was developed by WB Games Montréal and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
THE CHALLENGE
Warner Bros. Entertainment approached TAKEOFF to produce a press kit like no other that showed Origins would continue with the dark narrative of its predecessors.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION
We made Batman: Arkham Origins stand out to journalists by sending publications a personalised, branded wooden box which, when opened, revealed a large replica batarang complete with high-definition screen and speakers on the front.
The batarang played official trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins and was complemented by a printed booklet with further information. A USB port on the batarang allowed press to transfer game assets to their computers; an enclosed stand meant the batarang could also be put on display. The press kit itself became the story amongst many leading gaming publications.
