TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX SIEGE KEY ART ANIMATIONS AND LOCALISATION

THE PROJECT
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter, with a heavy focus on environmental destruction. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft in 2015.

THE CHALLENGE
Siege expansion Year 6 Season 3: Crystal Guard was released in September 2021. Ubisoft asked us to create key art animations to promote the expansion’s free weekend, and localise ads for many different regions.

TAKEOFF'S SOLUTION

Our key art would be hosted across various social media platforms and also across digital storefronts. They needed to not only promote that Crystal Guard was free to play over a specific weekend, but that the game included new features. Following the artistic direction seen in-game since 2021, we created animations and static content featuring new operator, Osa.

The engineering prodigy was also complemented by other in-game characters, alongside crucial information and calls-to-action including FTP dates and discounted merchandise offers. Static and animated key art was delivered in different sizes and formats for cross-channel advertising purposes, with static images translated into 16 different languages. Our animated key art was translated into 10 different languages.
