Launched in October 2020, Ubisoft Connect is a cloud-based platform designed to bring cross-platform connectivity to the publisher’s top titles.

Ubisoft approached TAKEOFF America and asked us to create a launch trailer to easily explain their new digital ecosystem to international audiences, and explain the benefits of their new, free service.

Overlayed with the powerful rock anthem ‘Kings of Adrenaline’, our trailer focused on real gamers accessing Ubisoft Connect across different devices including mobile, console and PC, to underline the service’s cross-platform accessibility and how players can use it to connect with each other. 

Neon-style text and visuals were interwoven throughout the trailer to advertise the service’s benefits, including 1,000+ free rewards, real-time stat access, leader boards, game tips and more.

We shot our actors in dark, LED-lit studios to present a modern gamer vibe throughout our trailer. Our gamers also used a number of RGB gaming accessories to underline the cross-platform nature of the service, such as console controllers, and PC peripherals. 

Gameplay footage was also interwoven throughout the trailer. TAKEOFF handled scripting, casting and post-production, and translated the trailer into 13 additional languages for international markets.
