THE PROJECT
The Crew Motorfest was released in 2023, with the electric racing game the third entry in The Crew series. Developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft, The Crew Motorfest saw players challenge each other and collect more than 600 vehicles on a beautiful Hawaiian island.
THE CHALLENGE
Ubisoft asked us to create lead keyart for The Crew Motorfest Ultimate Edition; a striking visual that encapsulated what the game and its location were all about in a single image.

Our design team revved up and created a number of proposals for Ubisoft that we felt captured the fast-paced nature of the game, its stunning vehicles and the beautiful tropical settings that players race in. When we agreed on the creative direction for the keyart, our artists put the pedal to the metal.
Working alongside Ubisoft to create 3D models in Photoshop from their renders, our final design focused on an orange, drifting supercar surrounded by graffiti-like waves of warm colours to set the tropical scene. A large ‘M’ logo was added in a similar style – our team also handled final edits of the lead keyart visual.
