FIFA18 – Press Kit

FIFA18 is one of the series’ biggest sellers with 24 million units sold globally between September 2017-18. FIFA18 was developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports.

EA Sports approached TAKEOFF to design, create and manufacture a ‘Premium Kit’ that could be sent to online influencers and the world’s leading football players to fuel social media hype for FIFA18, spark engaging conversations and encourage game purchases.

The TAKEOFF team went all out to design a beautiful, sleek black Premium Kit box with silver EA Sports and FIFA logo detailing. The box featured two compartments; a slide-out bottom drawer that contained a brand-new PlayStation 4 Pro, while the above compartment featured a copy of the game, a controller and a customised badge.

The badge was made to replicate a card from the FIFA Ultimate Team portion of the game, complete with personal photograph and statistical player information. Unboxing videos were shared online by players and influencers including Kylian Mbappe, Marquinhos, Benjamin Mendy, Antoine Griezmann, Alexandre Lacazette, Florian Thauvin and many others.
